The Royal Silver town
Kutna Hora is a treasure of the Czech Republic, a medieval silver mining town. The center of the city was included in the Unesco World Heritage list. The symbol of Kutna Hora is the unique gothic Cathedral of St. Barbara.
In this city, you’ll visit two unusual places: a bone church and a cemetery chapel (Ossuary) decorated with the bones of up to 40 000 people. Another must-see in Kutna Hora is the Wallachian Court with its exhibitions of minting coins and the Museum of Uncovering of the Mysterious Faces in its cellars, where you’ll get to know criminals, witches, heretics, judges, and executioners.
By the way, this amazing Czech city has a long tradition of wine culture! So don’t forget to visit its wine yards and try some high-quality wine.
